Finding Our Courts
![]()
Pleasant Hill Tennis Club functions are held on the tennis courts at Pleasant Hill Middle School. The Middle School is part of a complex of education buildings and athletic fields located immediately north of the Pleasant Hill Public Library. To find the courts, follow additional directions below to get to the traffic signal adjacent to the library (hereafter "The PH Library Traffic Signal") where you will see the sign pictured on the right.

At the PH Library Traffic Signal, turn north (your only choice) onto the unidentified road and go 0.2 miles. Approximately 50 feet past the speed bump, turn right into the parking lot and head for the green wall (pictured at left) at the far end of the lot. The courts are on the opposite side of the wall.
Getting to the PH Library Traffic Signal Intersection and the Courts
From Orinda area: Take Hwy #24; from San Ramon, etc. take #680, then #24 west.
Coming from either direction exit at Pleasant Hill Road North. When the road splits stay on Pleasant Hill Road and make a slight right turn (Lunardi's Shopping Center) onto Geary Road. Turn left at Putnam (signal). Turn right at Oak Park Blvd. (signal) (Safeway). The next signal is the PH Library Traffic Signal where you will go left.
Internet Maps: Despite what you see on the street sign, the road going north from the PH Library Traffic Signal is not "Santa Barbara" (it just takes you to it) and it is not shown at all on most internet maps. A few hard copy maps show the road, with or without identifying it as "Monticello", but there is no street sign with that name and an attempt to do a web map search for "Monticello & Oak Park" will fail. However, you can see both the road and the courts by going to either Google or Yahoo "Maps", entering the address of the library, 1750 Oak Park Blvd., and then switching to "satellite" view. The slightly misplaced location pointer on the satellite map will more or less point to the southwest corner of the library parking lot. The road from the PH Library Traffic Signal runs along the east side of the parking lot. The courts are to the northeast of the library--immediately northeast of the easily spotted large oval running track.
